The Tri-corder X-prize is a competition to develop an inexpensive, easy-to-use, handheld device capable of automatically measuring key vital signs such as blood pressure, blood oxygen level, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature, as well as accurately diagnosing more than a dozen serious illnesses, including anemia, diabetes, hepatitis A, pneumonia, tuberculosis and stroke. 10 finalist teams have been selected. The final prize will be awarded in 2016. Meet the finalist team leaders with this youtube playlist I put together. Each video is only 2 or 3 minutes so the whole thing is about half an hour.
