The University of Alberta conducted trials of DCA as a treatment - TopicsExpress

The University of Alberta conducted trials of DCA as a treatment for diabetes and its effect in curing cancer was noted as a side effect - some of the patients in the trial had cancer as well as diabetes. The efficacy of this drug has been known for some time, but it costs about 1 billion dollars to get FDA approval for a drug as a cancer treatment. Big Pharma of course wont spend the money, since they cant patent the drug as it is already well known and very cheap. The Canadian government cant afford to spend the money, and the U.S. government has been in the pocket of big business forever. There are two companies in the world that sell pharmeutical grade DCS, one in the UK and one in France. I can give the address of the UK company to anyone who is interested. The only problem with DCA is that the treatment dosage depends on the body weight of the patient, it comes as a powder and you need a pharmaceutical scale to weigh out the correct daily dose. I actually bought some of this and gave it to a neighbor who had been sent home to die having been diagnosed as untreatable. His family werent very organised as regards giving it to him, and never came back for the second bottle that I offered to give them if the first bottle helped. He did live for another 18 months, though, having been told by his doctors that death was imminent. I did read of some scumbag in Canada who was actually selling chalk dust as DCA, redefining wicked.
