The Veterans Greenhouse & The Veterans Green Bus are now officially in business with Motor City Blight Busters: Detroit Non-Profit in the Veterans Village of Old Redford. This partnership will help both organizations service their communities by bringing in Veterans who want to help rebuild the city, train for disaster relief efforts and gain the skills required to rebuild homes after a disaster. Types of training and work projects we will take on: Basic OSHA certifications for construction site safety HAZMAT and Debris Removal. Residential Deconstruction, Recycling and Demolition HAZMAT Debris Clearing Tree Trimming and Stump removal Soil Remediation and Urban Farming Reconstruction: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing (Union Supervised) Framing, Roofing, Flooring (Contractor Supervised) Masonry Foundation and retaining wall (Contractor Supervised) Greening: Solar, Wind, Biofuels and Geothermal (Contractor Supervised)
