The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has opened the application process for the annual New Waves 2014 juried exhibition. I encourage you to apply and spread the word to other Virginia artists. Almost all media is accepted with some weight and size restrictions. The juror for New Waves 2014 is Charles Moffat. Charles Moffett joined Sotheby’s in 2013 after spending two years working for an art advisory group with offices in Los Angeles and New York. He is presently the Head of the Afternoon Sale in the Contemporary Art department at Sotheby’s maintaining key client relationships throughout North America and Europe, securing consignments for auction, as well as private sales.
