The Winding River Art Galley would like to invite everyone to drop by an open house on Friday, August 23 , between 7 – 8:30 and see the winning photos in the Gallery’s very first “Photography Contest”. Kathy Geddes was the winner in two categories, Wildlife and Landscape; Sharon Miller the winner in Seascapes, and Judith Stoddart the winner in the Buildings category. Prizes will be awarded. We would love to have new and old friends stop by to view these lovely photos and to see the art of August’s featured artist, Marshall Burgess and the beautiful handmade jewellery by our second featured artist JoAnn Muise. The Gallery is located at Mastodon Ridge, exit 11, Hwy 102 – Stewiacke (across from Tim Horton’s). We are open seven days a week, 10 – 5. For more information please call the Gallery at 639-1646.
