The Word of God Gods word is truth (John 17:17), its quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), it is pure (proverbs 30:5), it never returns void (Isaiah 55;11), it accomplishes that which is purposed (Isaiah 55:11), its settled in heaven (psalms 119:89), He hastens his word to preform it (Jeremiah 1:12), He hath remembered his covenant for ever (psalms 105:8), His word shall come to pass (Ezekiel 12:25), He is able to preform that which He promised (Romans 4:21), The Lord is not slack concerning his promise (2peter 3:9), The Lord magnifies His word over His own name (psalms 138:2) and God is not a man that He should lie (numbers 23:19). And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. [John 1:14 KJV] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
