The Yates Family YMCA will be closed for the remainder of the day because of a power outage caused by a nearby transformer fire. Due to the fire, JEA is not yet able to give an exact time as to when power will be restored. Several roads in the area, including the Acosta Bridge exit onto Riverside Avenue, also remain closed. Thank you for your patience and understanding. You are welcome to use any of our other YMCAs on the First Coast during this time. We expect the Yates Y will reopen tomorrow at 5:00am as usual, but should that change, we will notify you as soon as possible.
