The Yellow Rose was flown to Waco for the new paint job on Thursday. Once there a crew of very hard workers (from the Centex Wing) took the control surfaces off so the paint can be stripped from the rest of the plane beginning Monday. Then the new paint will be applied. Hopefully, by the end of September, the Rose will be sporting a new outfit. Ladies.....eat your heart out! Many very hard working and dedicated volunteers have made this happen. We owe them a great debt of gratitude.
