The astonishing thing is that if you read the comments, a lot of people who obviously havent thought this through jumped on the tired old canard of and Liberals want to take your guns away. There are a number of problems with that logic. For one thing, Liberals are not coming for your guns, dumbass, or they wouldve knocked on your door already. But the most important take-away here is that it wasnt the Liberals who militarized the police force, and its not Liberals who get an erection every time a cop shoots somebody or blathers on about the hippies got what they deserved every time a cop bashes a protester with his nightstick. You can thank Conservatives for our paramilitary style police forces. Of course, some Right-Wingers are now a little uncomfortable with the insanity their leaders have unleashed, but their knee-jerk reaction, as always, is to blame Liberals. All you have to do to figure out who is to blame for all the overt police aggression we hear about (what little of it makes it into the mainstream news) is to listen for who celebrates the loudest whenever it happens. Its not Liberals. And I hate to burst your delusional bubble, sunshine, but Liberals have guns, too.
