The astronomers think theyve got the solar system pretty much - TopicsExpress

The astronomers think theyve got the solar system pretty much figured out, and have expanded outward beyond even our galaxy. The NASA types are into digging and photographing the differences in all the rocks and orbs that orbit the sun, especially for metals, chemicals, water, life, and so on. For tracking the phenomena of the solar system, we count on astrologers today. Look at how astrologer Richard Nolles coinage of the word SuperMoon has caught on. Its pretty much up to astrologers to inform the public about events around our star these days. “. . . methinks all AA members might do well to get much wiser about the astronomical end of our craft. We all get our orbital data from library shelf or computer printouts these days and we are in danger of becoming more and more abstracted from what really goes on in the cosmos. Astronomers already are almost totally abstracted from ever viewing the skies as a whole. We must return to being the skywatchers now, because mainstream astronomy busies itself with other things these days and tarries not within the orbital gyrations of the solar system. . .” ---Robin Heath, B.Sc(Hons), in The Astrological Journal, Vol. 37, No. 5, September/October 1995 May I suggest that there is an awesome Android app for skywatchers, and its FREE (for use on one of those $350 smart phones). ;-)
