The basic difference between the question of SALVATION in - TopicsExpress

The basic difference between the question of SALVATION in Christianity and Islam is this: CHRISTIANITY believes that man is DOOMED and must necessarily be saved, with sins unforgivable except that they be paid for, and the general belief is Jesus must die to pay for the sins of mankind and therefore be re-admissible into the Bosom of its Creator. ISLAM does not forget the basic reason for the short sojourn of mankind on earth --- and that is to be Gods Vicegerent, His deputy, His image on earth. الْمُفْلِحُونَ or الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ, loosely translated as Salvation is really SUPREME ACHIEVEMENT: and that is to complete mans duty as he was created for, as Gods vicegerent on Earth. And Allah never left mankind alone or turned His back that needs reconciling; His Guidance will He sent, incessantly, as He promised Adam and Eve as they were sent down to earth to fulfill their destiny: 2:38 We said: Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. 28:67 But any that (in this life) had repented, believed, and worked righteousness, will have hopes to be among those who achieve الْمُفْلِحِينَ (salvation/prosperity/success.) 85:11 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ (great salvation/Supreme Achievement).
