Let me take us back to history, at the Battle of Khandaq (Trench) the Quraish came with a mighty force that was allied with the Jews that surrounded Madina to destroy Islam and Muslims once and for all. Having this intentions they brought their champion, Amr ibn Abdulwud, to the Battlefield. Amr ibn Abdulwud was a complete warrior and his only equal then would have been Hamza ibn AbdulMutallib (rd), the Uncle of the Prophet, but Hamza was Marytred at the Battle of Uhud. So at the Battle of Khandaq, Amr and some Quraishi warriors scaled that Trench with their horses to the Muslim side. Amr now challenged the Muslims and ridiculed the Prophet of Allah (saww), he challenged the Muslims to a duel and fight to the death. The Prophet(s.a.w.w) asked the Muslims present as to who will take up the challenge but only Ali (as) volunteered. The Prophet (s.a.w.w) asked him to sit down and asked again three times but only Ali (as) answered. When this Lion of Allah approached the Battlefield he told Amr that there will never come a day when he will ever ridicule the Prophet (s.a.w.w) and to this day that day never came. The arrogant and occupying powers propagate their true and imaginary mights to defeat the minds of the oppressed and this is exactly what the Zionist-Israeli regime has used in defeating the minds of the Arabs. Only Hezbullah defeated that myth of invincibility in 2006. The followers of Ali(as) are in existence today who approach any Battlefield with two objectives; victory or Martyrdom and the Quran told us that both are victories. So never fear your enemies, resist them and be patient as Allah has promised victory to those that persevere.
