The bipartisan Congressional defense of Israeli war crimes and their attacks on the United Nations and reputable human rights groups for investigating them is not really about Israel, Hamas, Palestine, Zionism, or AIPAC. It is nothing less than a concerted effort to undermine the Fourth Geneva Convention and other basic principles of international humanitarian law in order to legitimize the mass killing of civilians in the name of the war on terror. This is why there should be zero tolerance towards any member of Congress, Republican or Democrat, who supported these resolutions.
