The buzz regarding the coach of the #Bangladesh #cricket team is still on. Who will be the coach is still a mystery. There had been a lot of hullabaloo about the local coaches, but the BCB boss have declined to appoint any of the local coaches and he wish to put faith in the foreign coaches. Even though, I think, we have very good local coaches. The coaching drama continues, but time and tide waits for none. The BCB must act quickly to settle this issue as early as possible. People are busy thinking about the World Cup, but my concern is about this year’s cricket schedule. We have a very important tour to West Indies coming up. We need to plan well for the present to fetch better results for the future and for which a master tactician is needed. Why don’t the BCB approach either Ian Pont or Dav Whatmore? If they wish to coach us then, according to me, they are the best options available at present. But what the BCB is thinking?
