The candles we light today are in honor of the Festival of Sukkot, - TopicsExpress

The candles we light today are in honor of the Festival of Sukkot, which begins tonight. For seven days, we will dwell in an outdoor Sukka "hut" to remind us of the "clouds of glory" which G-d created to protect us in the desert during our exodus from Egypt. As women, we have a special connection to Sukkot. Since we are often responsible for so many aspects of the home, extending the home out to the Sukka can be an opportunity to really connect to the good deeds that we do in the home. What does "home" mean to you? Do you take "home" with you on the road? What can we learn from dwelling out in the Sukka for a week, when it comes to how we relate to our homes?
