The claiming back of ones time for oneself can be the most selfish request one seeks and yet if one can grant it back to ones friend one has provided the most selfless service in the spirit of friendship just as valuable a gift as providing a silent ear or sensing what action may be of real help in times of need rather than mere words of inquiry. Space and time to function in synch with ones inner calling is a human need that needs to be respected as much as time for practice, growth and backend work that is often the hidden source of all that front end creativity which manifests. Admire the self discipline of my dancer, painter, theatre friends. May you all, always have time to create and express the soul.
