The concept of god is a useless idea formulated by the absence of our intellects to explain something rationally at the current time with the current evidence. It is not an explanation, and the belief that there is an afterlife or some essence to your consciousness that lives past death is a nice idea for imaginative fiction writing, but has no place as a respectable opinion on the nature of the observable universe. Your emotion based delusions are not fact, and they dont deserve the obligation of any rational person to acknowledge them other than in the context of a quaint story or a well-written piece of fiction, which the Bible is not.
