The concept of herd immunity is a misunderstood concept that is used to induce guilt in individuals who would question the status quo. It is a manipulation tactic that says you must sacrifice yourself or your own, if indeed you consider it a sacrifice, for the sake of the greater good. You must conform to the status quo, and if you dont, you are guilty of introducing disease into the general population, even though that disease was already present and you have not personally done anything to increase its incidence. Quite honestly, its an accusation Im tired of having leveled at me, whether directly or indirectly. I dont know about you, but I dont sacrifice my childs health for the sake of anothers.
