The day I stepped foot into Kenya, last January, the beautiful - TopicsExpress

The day I stepped foot into Kenya, last January, the beautiful children of Africa stole a piece of my heart. Since then, there has been no doubt in my mind that I would go back. I am excited to announce that I am going back in just over a month! I will be in the Congo of West Africa in Monrovia, Grace Church has several orphanages that we work with in Monrovia. We will focus on sharing the love of Jesus to the orphans and staff of these orphanages. Our mission is to share the hope that a relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior, brings. We want to make known the Father heart of God. Psalm 68:5 says, Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. Many children grow up without the love and care of an earthly parent but also have no idea that they have a God that cares intimately for them. I believe that as a follower of Christ it is my honor to care for orphans. James 1:27 says, Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. Please pray that these children would come to know God as their father. If you would like to donate to my trip, you can do so below. https://gracechurch.managedmissions/MyTrip/KatelynUhl
