The deal is done!!!! Over a span of two days, we managed to accomplish what we set out two years ago to do! Track down and a 1963 IH 460, like we had on the farm (only the one on the farm had the wide front conversion kit). We just have to fix a couple things on the 756 and we make the swap! The 460 needs some minor parts but has straight sheet metal - about a year or two to strip down and rebuild, sand blast & paint. Oh yeah, here we go again,.............need new rims! Chasing down the rear tires will be the pain, they dont make that model of tire anymore. Drove it today, runs and steers great! Clutch is hydraulic, like a hot knife through butter!
