The devil was working on us today for sure... While trying to get Amber Fields to Atlanta and ready for her first day at GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY we had not one but two blow outs about 20 miles apart on the rear of the truck that was following us with her belongings Thank God there was a little hardware store in Crawfordville that had two practically brand new tires for our truck and a man who could mount and balance them. This was absolutely amazing being you could practically see the tumble weeds rolling down the streets of this once booming town. After some serious blood, sweat, and almost tears we got my baby settled in her new apartment. I had to swallow the lump in my throat when I turned to leave her to face the next journey of her life without me within a arms reach for help. So tonight when you say your prayers say one for my baby girl, for me and for all the parents that are sending their babies off to college.
