The documentary MY PLAYGROUND (2009) explores the way Parkour and Freerunning is changing the perception of urban space and how the spaces and buildings they are moving on are changing them. The film follows Team JiYo and other tracers / freerunners from around the world as they explore the city and encounter the obstacles it presents. Starring also the well known athletes Timothy Graham Shieff (Livewire) and Ryan Doyle. Starring the Award winning architect Bjarke Ingels (BIG), danish politicians, city planners, a philosopher, the Freerunners from Team JiYo: the Freerunners from Team JiYo: Martin Coops, Ilir Hasani, Bjarke Ytting Hellden, Signe Højbjerre Larsen, Lasse Hammer, Tom Nyeng Møller, Rinaldo Heier Madiotto, Avni Hasani and much more. This is the film showing the first meeting ever between Parkour & freerunning, Architecture and City Planning. The film is directed and instructed by Kaspar Astrup Schröder. Since the film came out, Team JiYo has designed more than 20 parkour parks and helped other countries with projects from their experience within the field. The film has toured all around the world since it came out in 2009 and is still being showed frequently on film festivals. The film is important, because it shows what Parkour & Freerunning is really capable of, when used in the right way and with the good ideology and healthy mindset.
