We rung on the 24th to say we were collecting him to be told he was having a bath and to come at 10.30am. My partner and son travelled up to get him and once there he was told the groomer had found an abscess on his testicles that would need bathing in salt water and to perhaps see a vet but it wasnt urgent. My partner stupidly believed this and took our dog from you and paid. During the walk back to the bus stop he noticed the swelling on the dogs testicles once at the bus stop he saw what was nothing like an abscess but infected scrotum with hair,blood and pus matted to him. I find this incredulous as hes a short haired staffy Bill he has no hair around that area. His legs had sores and we have noticed today so has his tummy. We immediately took him the emergency vets and tried to contact you several times with no success. Our dogs testicles are swollen and red raw due to the fact hes spent 9 days in a wet dirty pen his penis was just starting to be effected. We have had a vets Bill of over £300 and more when he has to go on Tuesday. My dog wont come near people he looks as if hes been hit as he flinches when we go to stroke him hes walking tail between his legs and nose to the floor classic signs of abuse in a dog We informed you he was a rescue dog when we came to visit. He has lost 3kg in weight in the days hes was with you. This infection started 4 days ago and should of been noticed. Now he cant lie down apart from his back he is constantly crying from the pain Hes I. And we are upset at the state hes been returned to us in. When we finally got in touch with you by phone after we called you again, the response was awful. We werent asked how he was,how he had got in that state, or even offered an apology. All we were told is send proof of bills and vets report and an owner will sort it. No where near good enough when we have spent the past 24 hours telling our children they cant play with or even stroke their best mate. 24hours of hearing our dog crying in pain not being able to lie down only on his back because of the pain. Bathing and soaking up blood and gunk from his testicles I am disgusted at how you have treated our pet. I would like a better response to this email than to our phone calls. Not happy they havent asked how he is or apologised either still. Firstly thank you for your email.This is the first knowledge I have had of the situation to which you refer. I take the welfare of all the boarders at ****** to be of the highest priority and view your comments with the greatest concern I will ask the manager to respond to your comments in detail No where near good enough Ive blocked the kennels name win stars but the person who we spoke to on the phone was the person named on the email!!!
