The ever ready media: to suppress information and lie according to its convenience and that of the state. via Shuddhabrata Sengupta This video features a non-Kashmiri Hindu priest (from UP) of a Sanatan Dharam temple in Lal Chowk, Srinagar, Kashmir. Who talks about how he was given relief and succor by Yasin Malik of the JKLF during the recent floods in Kashmir. If I am not mistaken, the reporter talking to him works, or worked, until recently with Times Now - a channel that went to town over how Yasin Malik was preventing relief work being carried out by the Indian Army. (They had shown no evidence to buttress this claim - only a clip of some men and a dinghy, in which Yasin Malik could be seen) but no evidence of forcible capture of an army relief boat, no evidence of women being offloaded. NOTHING. And yet they went to town with this footage. But if the footage being shared here is indeed by a Times Now reporter, then there are very serious questions that need to be raised about why this footage was not aired. The only plausible explanation is that Times Now is part of the psyops. This we knew already. But it is proved, yet again. Shame on Times Now and the other major TV Channels (including Barkha Dutts disgusting non-reportage on NDTV) that have used the tragedy of the floods in Kashmir to decorate the occupation, yet again !
