The first joint assembly of Ukrainian Jewish Organization is being held in Kyiv, during which the delegates of five Jewish unions plan to create a council of the leaders of Jewish organizations of Ukraine. According to the head of the Association of Jewish Communities and Organizations of Ukraine (Vaad) Josip Zisels, the time has come for the Jewish community to help Ukraine in all possible ways, when it suffers aggression on part of another country. This issue, as well as the issue of helping forced migrants and citizens of Donbas who belong to the Jewish community, will be discussed by the participants of the assembly. They also note that the level of anti-Semitism in Ukraine is far from what Russian propaganda claims it to be. 13 instances of anti-Semitism were registered in Ukraine throughout a year, meanwhile there have been 1300 of those in Germany.
