The following is a rant I went into yesterday night, not intended as a personal attack on anyone in particular but it really deep down is how I feel about the whole comparing ISIS to Israel debate thats been going on and I thought it deserved sharing. I apologize if anyone is offended but it really got to me. Really? Your going to compare the child beheadings and rape before murder being committed by ISIS against people who have no way to defend themselves to the Israelis firing into Gaza against militants who are literally hiding behind children, literally Hamas is firing rockets from inside schools and bedrooms? Youre really going to somehow tell me that Isreal is somehow no different then ISIS? Did Israel round up Palestinians and form them into lines? Did they tag their homes with signs saying we are coming after you and your family? Ive already mentioned the beheading of kids right? Now did ISIS set up emergency clinics for the folks they just buried in mass graves? Did ISIS somehow spend billions on a missile defense system just so they would not have to resort to drastic measures too quickly? Are you really going to play the Israel is killing kids and ISIS is killing kids and thus compare them purely on that fact some and not take into measure the substance of their character? If this is how you think the rest of America must feel then we are f***ed, because evil this cruel, this maleficent feeds on the idiotic overtones of those kind of half assed comparisons. Im sorry but youve spent your life hating the evil that was the Nazis and you cant even see its modern day equivalent if it spat on your face. You compare everybody to them but the very people who are exactly like them and sit there admiring your own intellectual wisdom when you compare two things that are in contrast nothing alike. How can you seriously rationalize these two sets of events as exactly the same and still sleep at night?
