The freedoms we seek, O God, are from those which we needlessly carry. Help us to let go of the behaviors and prejudices which compel us to persecute those whom we do not understand or accept. Even to sit by and try to figure out what makes others tick may be as close to acceptance as we can get. Each of Your creations is an act of love and a gift to our world, and we are in awe at what is before us.
