The future of human spaceflight looks bright! Last night, SpaceX revealed their new Dragon V2 design. Completely reusable and immediately relaunchable, this capsule will carry up to seven astronauts to orbit and will be able to soft-land anywhere on Earth. The previous Dragon craft has carried three supply missions to the International Space Station, but has flown unmanned. SpaceX hopes to have the first manned flight by 2017, allowing the US to be more independent in the spaceflight game. Check out the video below... the Dragon V2 will be a powerful and extremely helpful spacecraft, but also it just looks REALLY COOL.
