The great Dick Gregory agrees that there is no African American Community. A real Community is self-determinant, able to codify folkways and traditions, and map destinies through political activity. Many, many Americans are rooting for a healing in the so-called African American community, since a rising tide raises all boats. Until every segment in the community can avoid this embarrassing political immaturity, there will be no community.
