The greatest thing J.J. and this film have going for them is the absolute power of NOSTALGIA. That theme music, those sound effects, the images and desert landscapes...... Unlike Avengers or Avatar, I mean this film franchise is deeply rooted in our psyche. It has transcended and become more than just pop culture. Star Wars has an embedded, archetypal effect in many, not just on filmmakers, but audiences more importantly. Already, I believe in this teaser more so than all three prequels.
