The hearings on Capitol Hill by the House Energy & Commerce Committee are a joke. The Demarcates are praising Ms Sebelius and pointing fingers at the Republicans for bringing the problems to the attention of the people. Meanwhile everything the Republicans have brought forward about the Affordable Care Act and the web site has come true. The Republicans are trying to get Ms. Sebelius to answer questions about who is responsible and she points to companies that have been hired to work in the Cloud so there would be no accountability on her part. 3 years and over a billion dollars spent on this system has yielded nothing but confusion and more partisan posturing. This hearing alone is costing taxpayers thousands upon thousands of dollars. Meanwhile, the majority of the population of this country is totally unaware or uninformed on whats happing. So in case you are uninformed: If you are 26 years or young and on your parents health insurance, you dont have to get health care coverage. If you are 27 years of age or older, you must have health care coverage or you will pay a tax (penalty) at the end of the year. If your health care coverage is less then what is required by the law, the insurance company will cancel your coverage and provide a plan (at an additional cost) the meets the laws requirement. The 1 billion dollar web site is still down, so good luck.
