The history of another Ohio Valley Gathering has gone down in the books. It was a great weekend of music and fun for all of us that love and appreciate the acoustic music tradition, and of course the mountain dulcimer! The concerts were great, the classes were fine, and the late night jams went until the hotel security told us they had to lock up the rooms and chased us out of the hallways and lobbies. We are a hard dying lot! Even the security guard said he would join us if he could because he plays bass! The OVG is a special time unlike any other that we attend. Its almost like a family reunion as we meet with friends, some of whom come from hundreds of miles away, and learn and do the things we love. Music has a way of bonding us like nothing else. Its priceless.
