The holiday season is fast approaching and will be here before we know it. The holidays are especially hard for grieving families. I think most people understand this but they dont recognize ways that they could help. Last year, my boys & I went through a horrific event, losing Ashlee suddenly just a few months before the holidays. My surviving kids needed the joy and wonder of the holidays more than ever but the thought of putting up Christmas lights or decorating a tree was overwhelming. Therefore, I have decided to use money from Ashlees Eternal Wings memorial fund to help families with grieving kids this holiday season. Im calling it Project Light. We will set up holiday lights, decorations, trees for families with grieving children who would like to have them placed for their children but are unable emotionally or physically to do it themselves. If anyone is interested in donating money to this cause, you can do so at any PNC Bank by donating to Ashlees Eternal Wings (no apostrophe or PNC will not be able to locate the account). We also would welcome donations of holiday lights, decorations, trees or peoples time. If you know anyone who might be interested or owns a business that could help, please refer them to me or Id be happy to contact them directly.
