The honest truth is that we are all complicit in this, either by our silence, our ignorance, our selfishness, our fear of change, our xenophobia, our anger towards others for causing our problems, our indolence, our escapism, our greed, our need to satisfy our urges, and our lack of empathy for those who struggle and suffer through life. We are not all created equal. We never were. Those with more have a social obligation to share what they have with those have cannot provide or produce more themselves. That means EACH ONE OF US must help those with less than we have. Dont wait for the wealthy to provide you with what ever it is you need. Just start by passing on whatever you have that someone else really needs. And Im not talking just about money and stuff. I am also talking about your knowledge, your skills, your time, your ear, your compassion, your LOVE. There are forces pulling us apart. Maybe if we pull each other together well realize the power of our unity and be able to throw over those who would still oppress us.
