The internet and social media is misinforming thousands daily about fluoridation. This is the finding from a survey carried out be Mertz and Allukin last year. I suggest that things have improved a little since 2011 and 2012 when the survey was done but more is required. Anti-fluoridation activists and orgnaisations get funding and support from the natural health industry. They are very skilled at media manipulation and the tradtiional pro-science and pro-health insitutions are not suitable for the struggle rquired in scoail emdia and on the internet.
