The irony of sharing this on social media is not lost on me Really wonderful take on the focus on technology and lack of socialisation. Its not about shutting off technology as some are jumping to, its about finding a balance in life. We are seeing a generation of young people who are loosing they skills to communicate and socialise face to face, who edit their lives to present an altered image of their reality, who are loosing their ability to deal with emotions, we are seeing an increase of mental health issues in young people who are unable to relate to others, open up and share their needs. Technology is a wonderful thing, we are able to function / connect in a way that never would have been possible years ago, at the same time we are loosing aspects of our lives that are important to our very well being. As with everything in life, balance is the key. Cheryl x
