The kingdom call takes a soft heart but steel in the soul. It is a dangerous road for neither the world nor religion understand it, and often fight it. God makes men of steel. He makes Jeremiah into an iron pillar, John the Baptist a rugged voice in a wilderness, and Peter into a rock. His strength is made perfect in your weakness that is surrendered to Him. Jeremiah 1:18-19 And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”
