The last straw Weve heard that one of Boko Haram terrorists was - TopicsExpress

The last straw Weve heard that one of Boko Haram terrorists was captured and was interrogated. His confession didnt shock me as am sure it wouldnt shock you. He said and I quote: “We are serving the same master!” that was the only response the BH terrorist had for the interrogating officer. To avoid misinterpretations, this statement simply means that BH and the interrogating officer are both employees of the same person and by person I’m referring to the “master” in the quotation above, both of which mean the same thing: Nigerian government. The helicopter that crashed recently had two unknown white men and two Nigerian Army officers aboard plus about six (6) million Dollars wrapped up in the midst of arms and ammunition. Just before another helicopter landed and rescued them and their goods, one of the white men was heard, by an eye witness, suggesting that they should set the consignment on fire. Why burn such an amount and accouterments, what were they for and for what purposes? Your guess is as good as mine. What we are now waiting for is either Jonathan or his spokesperson to come out and publicly confess to the crimes against humanity, but as we all know, that won’t happen. So do we succumb to the fear of being apprehended by the government for interfering with “investigation” and stay clear or do we abjure dissipation and stand up against these delinquents whom the president regarded as his “siblings” and considering wiping them out as inhumane. I would say the latter; after all it’s a common knowledge that the president and his subjects don’t see eye to eye on some key definitions, most notably and utterly embarrassing is his definition of corruption. Religious, regional and political affiliations are of little or no significance at this time. What we are up against is much more than anything we’ve ever had to face; it’s a strife between the poor devoid of any weaponry and weaken from within on one side, and a giant deleterious monster sitting on enormous wealth, backed up by even more powerful allies on the other. Yes, the odds may seem against us, the scale may appear to tilt towards them but we have what they don’t: Number and Faith. If only we can set aside our differences, realize that no man is an island; they won’t survive to enjoy the fruit of their looting. Our resilience will stifle whatever urge they have of slaying us. We can’t run away even if we wanted to, where else do we even run to? It’s time to pitch in and not pack up. We belong here and so we stay put and sanitize our communities of these devils incarnate.
