The last twenty four hours have been very perplexed for me. First - TopicsExpress

The last twenty four hours have been very perplexed for me. First I drove to west Tn and visited with my dad for a couple hours. We visited a few more hours this morning and had a great home cooked breakfast which he enjoyed. We all know that fighting cancer is a horrific journey and its a journey that he must take so every minute spent with him has increased value and purpose. On the other end of the spectrum was seeing my grandson Alexander Thurstons profession of faith and baptism today. Tears of joy and excitement surrounded the moment. I have been praying for him and all of my grand kids to accept Christ as their savior. After a delightful lunch with the Thurston family I was able to spend another hour or so with my dad before heading back out for east Tn. During this time, dad and I cried together as he gave me his bible that he has had since 1976. This day will in my memory bank of life.
