The late starts are beginning to affect our academic progress interfering with schedules and hampering our ability to get through curriculum. For that reason we will not delay the start of school because of cold temperatures for the rest of the school year. If a parent decides for their child that it is unsafe to come to school by 8:00 a.m. they need to send a note explaining why and any work missed will need to be made up.
