The law states that you need to be covered by a TV Licence if you - TopicsExpress

The law states that you need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch or record television programmes, on any device, as theyre being shown on TV. This includes TVs, computers, mobile phones, games consoles, digital boxes and Blu-ray/DVD/VHS recorders. You dont need a licence if you dont use any of these devices to watch or record television programmes as theyre being shown on TV - for example, if you use your TV only to watch DVDs or play video games, or you only watch ‘catch up’ services like BBC iPlayer or 4oD. So therefore I dont need a tv license because I am not watching anything shown live. I dont even need a license if I am watching catch up services, which I wont be watching anything broadcast by the Biased Broadcasting Cooperation not even catch up. Even if you HAVE a device that CAN give you live tv broadcasting, you DONT HAVE TO HAVE A LICENSE. Win win for me and £145, £12 per month in my pocket each year, I cannot complain as that can go to something far better like FOOD for my kids as you can damn well be assured, we are only going to suffer further cuts. xx https://youtube/watch?v=WrH0O9QGOuY
