The lecture schedule of the Alliance Française de Baltimore for the fall months of 2013 will be as follows: Sunday, September 15* Frances ALDERSON: “Des sommets pyrénéens aux bastides gersoises: un voyage dans le temps et l’espace” (conférence illustrée) Sunday, October 13 Anne BENGOCHEA: “Voix francophones: les écrivains de langue française” Sunday, November 17 Soeur Thérèse LAMY: “Amants et amis: Abélard et Héloïse, Maurice Scève et Pernette de Guillet, Michel de Montaigne et Marie de Gournay” All our lectures will take place at 2:30 pm at Notre Dame of Maryland University (Multi-purpose Room or Student Lounge, in Melitia Hall), 4701 North Charles Street, Baltimore MD 21210. *Note that on Sunday, September 15, there is a possible change of speaker in the event Madame Bourguignon is available to present a lecture about Betsy Patterson Bonaparte, the subject of an exhibition currently on view at the Maryland Historical Society, 201 W. Monument Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. If that substitution is made, Frances Alderson will speak on November 17 and Sr. Thérèse will speak in the spring 2014 series.
