The main initiative for starting this page was to re-unite lost friends, & the soul inspiration behind it all was the loss of a friend. So, you get a bittersweet mixture of pleasure & pain in here. The constant sorrow of losing a dear friend always aches the hearts of its admins, & gives them strength to carry on with its goals. While the warm rush of pleasant feeling at being able to help out friends fuels us. So we know both, how it feels to find a friend after a long separation, as well as how it feels to lose a friend forever. In our journey since we started, we are realizing one thing more & more intensely. That is: A group of good friends is like a bunch of pens in a penstand. Take one away, the others move closer to each other. After the loss of a friend, naturally the bond between the other friends becomes stronger, because they all share the same grief, & hasten to tend the same sores. Same thing happened to these boys of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Dhaka. As they all unite to protest against the injustice with their friend Dev Jeet Das Joy, that had forced him to commit suicide on the 19th of November. They are being neglected, harrassed, & even threatened for raising their voices against the so-called Dicipline Committee of the colleges authority. Scrapbook salutes the spirit of these boys, who just dont know how to give up. Holding friendship as their staff, they are doing all they can, to bring justice to Joys family, & for the betterment of the colleges rules & disciplines, once & for all. Carry on, brothers!
