The more and more I witness the media, certain readings, and peoples opinions, Id come to learn the existence of those who walk an agnostic life. What is an agnostic? They are a sect of people who believe in a god (lower case purposed), but uncertain as to which one is considered worthy of praise. The plus side of this is that they believe in supernatural powers to aid mankind. The minus is the uncertainty which causes a constant state of spiritual limbo. Wouldnt it be better to live without confusion? As for confusion in general, every religion is competing against the other for the sake of supremacy. So whos right? If one examines every religion out there, they will find many contradictions in their writings. In addition, the unrealistic reasoning and constant tedious works to a symbol or sign brings about a whole host of issues against the deity that supposed to save them. Finally, the living proof of a sinless standard does not exist which serves no purpose for the practicality of life. In the wise words of the movie Highlander, There can be only one. So whos the one? If one were to consider all the readings, writings, deity, and works, every book in the Bible, the explanation of Jesus Christ, and the work put in place for the sake of the Gospel is the only one that stands alone. How is this possible? One word: sinless. This qualifies every jot and tittle pertaining to Jesus is the unmatched gold standard that can wash away sin in all its ugliness to save mankind. No other belief system saves, because no other belief system has a savior that put his/her money where their mouth was. Therefore, Jesus wins. End if story. Furthermore, there are Scriptures to validate this post: Romans 1:18-20- For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Everyone is innate with Jesus in them. No excuses, no crybabies. John 8:31-32- So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Freedom can only be found if we are considered His. 1 Corinthians 1:18-25- For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart. Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom... (See Romans 11:33-36.) Psalm 14:1- To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good. For one to say there is no god hadnt considered the animals that acknowledge Him daily. A bird, for example, has a very small brain. A Mother bird has no idea when one of their young are starving to death, let alone know when theyre able to know how to fly. However, they know when to fly south. Hows this possible? God. Hebrews 6:4-6- For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. (See Romans 1:18-20.) 1 Thessalonians 2:13- And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers. (See 2nd Timothy 3:16-17.) The agnostic life, or any other life outside of Jesus Christ, will not make it to heaven. That may sound harsh, but such a judgment comes from the Word of God (John 14:6). Jesus Christ is the exclusive Messiah and, therefore, the only One worthy to save mankind due to His sacrifice (Matthew 27:33-56). No one else bought you at a price (1st Corinthians 6:20). Thankfully and mercifully, He did. Are you now a believer? If so, hallelujah! Now repent, get baptized, receive forgiveness, receive the Holy Spirit, become justified and sanctified, live by His Word, die to be glorified in Him, all in the name of Jesus Christ.
