The natural man, through the flesh, is ALL about ME, MYSELF and I! Even when this kind of man thinks of others and does for others, or even when he worships God and serves God it is only in a limited way until self is taken out of the way. The purity of life begins to foretell of that which is to come as even now does life begin to vanquish and swallow up all which is of death within. Do you SEE? Can you SEE... that self is the enemy to all mankind? Self is the very life and nature of Satan. It is Satan incarnate in the flesh. It is cursed and subject only to corruption and death so that all it thinks, speaks and does is touched with the element of death according to the level of that death within. All people have this element of death within which may be referred to as self or the flesh. It is self centered and selfishly ambitious. It cannot think, speak or act apart from self and since self abides in death it projects death or corruption to all whom it may contact. It is only as self is purged and cleansed from the heart and soul that the eternal life of the Father may begin to find its enjoyment in experience within and find its release without to propagate life to all. 1 Corinthians 15:53For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 55“O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?” 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. This scripture is commonly thought to be in reference only to the coming of the Lord but if it is not made manifest in present tense, how shall it be realized in future tense? For I must decrease that He might increase, for as I die, He lives and all which is of death is swallowed up in victory.
