The new Equalities Minister thinks there are no women on the Bank of Englands Monetary Policy Committee because none are good enough. He is a fan of Thatcher (a famous opponent of equal opportunity policies) and a multi-millionaire with a multi-million property portfolio. Yet another minister with no skills to do the job?? Is being pals with George Osbourne the only skill he needed to get the job??
