The next instalment. Day 4 Woke up early, had a good breakfast and was off to see Livorno. With a trip to Tuscany could not fit in Pisa or Florence. What a charming town. I found the largest open air farmers markets I have ever seen. Meat, Poultry, Vegies for block after block. It was incredible. The city sanitation workers were protesting in downtown and it made for some lively entertainment. I spoke with the cops and it truly is an international brotherhood. Spent the afternoon in Tuscany. The vineyard has been family owned for over a century. The wines were good with one that was spectacular. The view was outstanding, that does not do justice to the view. I made a new friend, Barbara, The lady was confined to a wheel chair. The path was gravel and not level. She and her companion were older than myself. I offered to assist her, I gave her my walking stick for one side and I was on the other and we managed the entire course, a bit slowly. It was rewarding to be of assistance. It was formal night. I must say that many people wanted pictures with me as I wore my formal kilt.
