The next stop on Saturdays Re.Discover Bunbury tour took us to the Wittenoom Street car park, where local artist Fecks was waiting to chat to the crowd. He introduced his latest work and explained the idea behind it, My mural is influenced by where I live at the moment, which is in Broome, so a lot of the colours and textures come from there. As you can see, its a bit of a patchwork of stuff Im interested in. Wed also visited the car park earlier that day to watch Fecks put the finishing touches to this piece and we were impressed by his dedication. Having painted each section over a number of days, he braved blazing sunlight and 36 degree heat to complete it just in time for the walking tours, and received a huge round of applause for his efforts.
