The notion of the Sale or Specials have always felt funny to me. I think it is because of the very obvious lack of transparency about the whole ordeal. You go to a big closeout sale where everything is on sale and all of a sudden half the stores stock has been switched around or the sale prices arent that great. Im reminded of this Brian Regan comedy bit: https://youtube/watch?v=GR242-sTIUY Were going to have a pre-registration sale/party. You dont have to be involved with the race in any way to take advantage of the sale prices. Im going to take some items off the floor that I cant afford to discount. It will only be a couple of bikes. The rest will all be on sale. The whole store as youve seen it the last couple of months. The sale runs from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Plus, if you pre-register for the Klunker Classic on Monday night, you will get an additional 10% off any item in the store.
