The other day I posted pictures of my son Tim and my grandchildren Aly and Shawn actually participating in this Polar Plunge. I dont know if any of you actually saw that post since I shared someone elses posting and their privacy settings may have prevented my friends from seeing it. Anyway it is a New Years Day tradition for people to literally plunge into the freezing waters of Lake George. Now keep in mind that the day here was in the 20s and Lake George is a bit more north of us and Lake George has a reputation of cold water even in the summer. Anyway I dont think I can bring the pictures over to this posting but I do have proof that they actually did it.
